Chief Financial Officer
& General Manager

Mike Williamson, CPA, brings to Long Shadows Vintners a wealth of experience in corporate management and finance.

After college he spent six years at Ernst & Young, leaving as an audit manager to enter the corporate world with Fluke Corporation, a $400 million electronics manufacturer. During his career at Fluke his responsibilities included Division Financial Manager and Director of Worldwide Audit.

In 1998 he joined Corus Brands, Inc., Washington State’s second largest wine company located in Woodinville, Washington. As Chief Financial Officer, he was a key member of an executive team that grew sales and profits 25% annually creating the financial attraction that lead to Canandaigua Wine Company acquiring the firm in 2001.

Williamson was recruited concurrently by Canandaigua to take over the financial control of its table wine division with sales of over $500 million. In addition to his financial duties, he also had oversight responsibility for the Northwest Wine Operations.

In 2003, Williamson accepted a senior management position in Long Shadows Vintners, an exciting new venture in the luxury segment of the industry, that will challenge his skills at building equity value, provide him with the opportunity to participate in ownership and begin the launch of his own new Australian brand called The Gatekeeper, a high-end Shiraz from the McLaren Vale.
